We are seeking an Accountant to join Aspect’s finance team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in executing essential tasks vital to our business operations. Reporting to the Controller, you’ll be responsible for daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, payroll, and the month end closeout processes. This presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to Aspect’s core operations, impacting both our company’s success and the patients we're dedicated to treating.
Responsibilities
- Verify and process invoices, ensuring accurate documentation of vendor transactions.
- Create invoices to customers and manage receivables collection.
- Reconcile credit cards, accounts payables, and receivables.
- Review expense claim forms, ensuring adherence to company policy.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, contractors and Aspect team members promptly and professionally.
- Prepare Wire and EFT runs to ensure timely payments to employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Assist with period-end and yea-end closing tasks.
- Prepare payroll runs for both Canada and US employees.
Qualifications
- Education: Post-Secondary Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience: 3-4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office with intermediary skills in MS Excel. Knowledge of accounting software such as NetSuite is an advantage
The hiring range for this role is $55,000 - $79,000, annually. Our ranges are based on market data. Offered salaries will be based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. For candidates who exceed role requirements, we are open to exploring above-range offers. Note that base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Aspect.
