As a Developer Advocate on our engineering team, your goal will be to build a thriving, connected developer community around the Asana platform. You will partner with developers across our ecosystem to empower them with the support and energy they need to succeed. As the bridge between external developers and Asana, your relationships and broad view on the developer community will be key to guiding our platform strategy. By soliciting and synthesizing developer feedback, you’ll help shape the future of the Asana platform.
What you’ll achieve
Own the 3 C’s of developer experience on the Asana platform: Content, Code, and Community
Identify and establish relationships with key members of Asana’s developer ecosystem
Assist developers through the full app lifecycle and synthesize their feedback to expand platform capabilities and improve developer experience
Create engaging technical content that inspires new ways to extend Asana functionality
Maintain and improve the API documentation and the SDKs
Represent the Asana platform at developer conferences and other events
Team up with Asana Marketing to promote compelling platform use cases through our marketing channels
You have 2+ years of experience working in a developer-facing role with demonstrable success in guiding developers through the full app lifecycle, from ideation through launch to maintenance and support
You have technical skills and expertise commensurate with a full-time coding bootcamp, or equivalent work experience
You are good at illuminating technical topics at varying levels of detail across an audience with varying levels of expertise
You are opinionated about how to nurture a long-lasting developer community
You are passionate about empowering others with a servant leadership mindset
You enjoy working cross-functionally and wearing multiple hats
