We are looking for a thoughtful & enthusiastic Inside Sales Trainer to join our Global Sales Enablement Team! We care deeply about developing our next generation of talent within our Sales Org and this role will be focused on the professional growth of the sales reps who are earlier on in their careers. You will be responsible for ensuring these reps have the right fundamentals to build long-term careers at Asana. You will also work closely with other Enablement program and regional leads to determine, plan & execute priority training needs for each region and team. You are highly curious, solution-oriented, creative, compassionate, and are eager to cultivate a robust coaching and training program for our Global Inside Sales teams. Above all, you are exceptionally passionate about directly working hands on with our team to cultivate and accelerate their growth as sales professionals. 

What you’ll achieve:

    • Coaching Assistance: Listen in on customer calls and provide 1:1 coaching on call, opportunity, account & territory management 
    • Sales Academy: Help define our Inside Sales learning curriculum as well as reinforce formal selling techniques & methodologies
    • Ongoing Education: Complete certifications across the team to ensure knowledge retention & consistency across our sales process 
    • Instructional Design & Training Execution:  Conduct needs assessment across each team, develop effective educational plans & execute on delivery of training to address those needs
    • Support throughout OnBoarding: Play a vital role in ensuring our new hires are hitting ramp attainment goals from the start
    • Learning Management System:  Design scalable, tailored learning content
    • Travel: Provide on-the-ground training support to our North American, European & ANZ offices at least once a quarter 

Work cross-functionally with:

    • Product Marketing to build localized content & facilitate ongoing training 
    • Global Inside Sales Leads to help share insights & align on areas for improvement, track progress for each rep and provide coaching recommendations 
    • Coordinate & Collaborate with our EMEA Enablement Lead to align & prioritize training initiatives across the European Inside Sales teams 
    • Global Enablement counterparts to align on & execute priority training initiatives, diagnose and provide recommended training curriculum to regional leads 
    • External Partners selling Asana  to align on strategy for ongoing education as well as the delivery of training

About you:

  • 5+ years experience in sales in a SaaS company
  • 2+ years experience in sales training or enablement
  • Passionate about professional development of others
  • Experience in providing constructive feedback and coaching 
  • Experience in launching and implementing new training programs or initiatives
  • Experience in Inside Sales (medium to high volume) 
  • Embraces new challenges with confidence, curiosity and an open-mind
  • Ability to execute under swift deadlines -must love moving fast and being flexible
  • An entrepreneurial problem-solving attitude and growth mindset 
  • Highly empathetic to our sales reps and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication skills 
  • Love for learning and educating others 
  • Ability to prioritize work and strike a balance of reactive requests & planned deliverables
  • Eager, positive and highly reliable
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Sales Methodology ( i.e Sandler, Solution Selling, etc)
  • Previous experience supporting remote offices and working in a fast moving global company

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience as a seller in SaaS
  • Experience working with or supporting international teams
  • Multilingual: German, French preferrable 
  • Previous Experience working with LMS and or supporting LMS content creation
