Location:
We are seeking a Part-Time Optometry Assistant to join our team in the central Tennessee area with a travel radius up to about 2 hours. Paid drive time and mileage stipend! Any drive over 2 hours (about 100 miles) will be eligible for an overnight stay with hotel and meal allowance. This role pays between $16.00 to $20.00 per hour plus fifty cents per mile and is for one to two days per week between Tuesday - Thursday.
Duties:
- Arrive before the doctor to get the clinic set up at the facility.
- Transport patients to and from the exam area at the facility.
- Assist the doctor with vision pretesting, working with glasses and scribing as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- 1 year relevant work history, preferably in long term/senior care.
