Argyle Executive Forum is seeking an Event Manager to join our team in New York City. As an event operations expert, the manager utilizes rock-star project management skills to facilitate flawless member meeting preparation and execution. Event Managers are skilled multi-taskers with excellent time management and follow-through skills.
While working closely with venues, vendors, and clients you will plan each event for successful operation. The Event Manager drive’s completion of pre-meeting value-added tasks including, but not limited to, attendee forecasting, room layout, venue guarantees, menu selections, internal staff coordination, and procurement of temporary meeting staff. Managers travel to all of their assigned events to execute the completion of the planning process. If you are an experienced planner with a passion for logistics and creating stellar events, this would be a great opportunity for you.

A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant field of study
1-3 years’ experience in a similar role working on event operations
Superb listening and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
A desire to be part of a fast-growing company
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change
Willingness and availability to travel domestically 1-3 times per month to host Argyle events
