This Marketing Manager position is a central role within the business, we are looking for individuals with proven success of running marketing campaigns to drive attendees to exhibitions and conferences.

The opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and passionate Marketing Manager to join our team, working on a global portfolio of up to 15 events a year. Based in our brand-new office in the city of London, the successful candidate will own the event strategy and will work with the marketing director to develop the global strategy across the whole company.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Strategy: The Marketing Manager will support the Marketing Director in creating the overall product & brand marketing strategy and directly manage the campaign execution of the roadmap.

Data management, audience and analysis: The individual will have the ability to identify relevant target audiences, to make sophisticated campaign selections, as well as identifying and create briefs for new data build projects. They will use their analytical abilities to review and analyse their campaigns in order to identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and data quality. 

Lead & Demand Generation : The successful candidate will lead on the development of lead and demand generation campaigns as well as the data management processes on the CRM (Salesforce) and automation platform (Pardot).

Stakeholder Management: The successful candidate will have an ability to influence stakeholders of all level. They will partner closely with sales to help drive revenue opportunity across sponsors and delegates. Aligning with the content and editorial team to unlock value from content produced to drive marketing initiatives and campaigns.

Marketing Technology The candidate will have expertise across a wide-range of marketing technologies and channels including but not limited to email marketing, conventional and non-conventional advertising, website performance and user experience, social media, branding & marketing collateral, SEO, SEM. They will have experience using a marketing automation tool to build and execute targeted campaigns. 

Marketing Expertise: The individual will be able to come up with new, innovative marketing ideas to develop the scope of how the marketing team interact and engage with the target audiences, in order to better drive visitor attendance, as well as supporting sales with generating leads .

Brand Awareness: They will be a brand champion for Innovation Enterprise's brands, they will understand the value of our brand and ensures that branding is consistent across all campaigns and channels.

Engaging copy-writing: They will understand our target audience, and create relevant and engaging copy, which drives our target audience to attend our conferences. A skilled copywriter who knows how content should be adapted over various marketing channels, such as email and social media.

Knowledge, experience, skills and attributes:

  • Event Marketing experience
  • CRM management and use of marketing automation tools (Salesforce and Pardot preferred) 
  • Use of Marketing Automation to nurture campaigns
  • Excellent copywriting skills and great communication skills
  • Proficient at Salesforce CRM
  • Experience in strategically building marketing campaigns
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Genuine passion for marketing and events
  • A degree in Marketing related subjects is desirable
