The Event Manager will be an event operations expert, utilizing rock-star project management skills to facilitate flawless member meeting preparation and execution. Event Managers are skilled multi-taskers with excellent time management and follow-through skills.
While working closely with venues, vendors, and clients you will plan each event for successful operation. The Event Manager drive’s completion of pre-meeting value-added tasks including, but not limited to, attendee forecasting, room layout, venue guarantees, menu selections, internal staff coordination, and procurement of temporary meeting staff. Managers travel to all of their assigned events to execute the completion of the planning process. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a relevant field of study
1-3 years’ experience in a similar role working on event operations
Experience in live and virtual event production
Superb listening and communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
A desire to be part of a fast-growing company
Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to change
Willingness and availability to travel domestically 1-3 times per month to host Argyle events
