We are seeking a Duck Creek Program Manager. This is a critical role in driving a successful Duck Creek implementation across the enterprise. The role can be based in any of our Argo US offices or remote.
This Program Manager:
- Provides guidance and works directly with business leaders, business subject matter experts, business analysts and project managers on the execution of the implementation plan
- Supports the PMO in project management planning and scheduling of implementations
- Ability to look at the big picture, negotiate through disputes, and provide inspiration
- Partners with business resources to ensure expected value is delivered by the system
- Identifies and helps to secure business resources needed for successful implementation
- Solves problems with business subject matter experts to keep implementation on schedule
- Communicates with business leaders on implementation plans, resource needs and status updates
- Provides guidance and work effectively with vendors in the implementation of the Duck Creek system
- Daily program management throughout the program life cycle
- Manages program governance (controls)
- Planning of the overall program and monitoring of progress
- Responsible for managing the program’s budget
- Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measures as appropriate
- Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies
- Manages and utilizes resources across projects
- Manages stakeholders’ communication
- Handles special projects and assignments as requested
Experience:
- Proven track record managing a large-scale program in the insurance technology space, preferably Duck Creek or Guidewire
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Commercial insurance experience, preferably underwriting or claims
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong planning and organizing skills
- Experience with technologies frequently used in the insurance market space including Oracle, Java, Windows, preferred
- Insurance Billing experience, preferred
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or systems field (i.e. computer science, engineering, math, management information systems, or systems analysis) from an accredited college or university.
- Preferred: MBA/Masters degree with a relevant concentration from an accredited college or university preferred.
