We’re individuals driven by strong values to solve complex problems together. Come join us to reimagine the human journey.
Meet the team:
Autonomy Production is responsible for the development and management of Argo’s simulation dataset as well as triaging and reporting on changes in the autonomous vehicles software. The team provides developers with trends and reports that greatly influence the development of the self-driving system. Triage Engineering is expanding it’s team of experts that perform root cause analysis on complicated Autonomous Vehicle Platform and software issues. As a Triage Engineer you will dive deep into the autonomy platform and provide detailed feedback on how our supporting software and hardware teams can improve our self driving system.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze, diagnose, document, and communicate complex issues from the Autonomous Vehicle Platform in operations
- Track the occurrences and frequency of problems to understand the scope and impact
- Analyze large data sets over time for trend analysis, failure rate determination and impact predictions using statistical methods.
- Determine Root Cause and proper scalable repairs or solutions with a safety first mindset and a data driven approach
- Generate clear, concise data driven reports and/or standard operating procedures given highly complex content
- Create requirements for issue identification, define priority, prepare work instructions for work-arounds and build knowledge articles.
- Assist in the design and documentation of complex cross functional processes
- Drive design improvements to Engineering Teams for future system improvements
- Provide guidance and coaching to other team members on Root cause analysis (RCA) and Engineering best practices
