Meet the team:

The Procurement team is responsible for ensuring that Argo AI’s engagements with third parties are conducted in an efficient, responsible and compliant manner.  This includes engaging with, negotiating and contracting with suppliers to acquire goods and services in light of the best total cost of ownership; monitoring supplier performance, supporting compliance to business protocols; and leveraging technologies to support a streamlined, efficient Procurement Function. The role of the Procurement Coordinator I/II will primarily support the day-to-day purchase-to-pay (P2P) process ensuring that stakeholder requests for goods and services are timely processed and supplier payments are correctly posted by working with Finance and Accounting for the Argo AI LLC and Argo AI Gmbh Legal Entities. This role will also support the intake, negotiation and review of low-risk NDAs, contracts, statements of work / scopes of work, addendums etc. with Legal and Procurement peers, while ensuring that executed agreements are timely tagged with appropriate identifiers and risks in the contract management system.  Additionally, the Procurement Coordinator I/II will support P2P monitoring and improvement projects (e.g. Open PO monitoring and other compliance controls, Vendor Master Data Maintenance, Supplier Catalog Maintenance). This role has the potential for continued growth within the Procurement function taking on increasing responsibilities within Argo. What you’ll do: 

  • Manage NDAs from initiation to execution for Argo AI, LLC and Argo AI, GmbH
  • Enter purchase orders in NetSuite after ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals have been provided while supporting the timely completion of supplier payments
  • Manage low-value stakeholder requests through use of a purchasing credit card or supplier open account
  • Responsible for on-going vendor master data maintenance
  • Support Procurement P2P efficiency and compliance projects with oversight from leadership
  • Manage the intake, negotiation, and execution of low-risk contracts, addendums and SOWs with Legal and tag executed documents in the relevant contract management system;
  • Create ad hoc reports and analyze data for leadership and Procurement team
  • Support process development and continuous improvement

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Fluent German speaker (written and spoken) with ability to negotiate low-risk agreements with suppliers in German
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business Administration or related) in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc
  • Minimum of seven years of combined source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay experience
  • Be knowledgeable of standard Procurement policies and procedures and driving stakeholders to maintain compliance
  • Relentless attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Knowledge of ERP Systems
  • Influence stakeholders, exercise sound judgment and escalate issues while facilitating resolution with stakeholders
  • Juggle multiple threads of work and deliver for the team and Argo collectively
  • Able to work effectively with suppliers and other partners, multinationally, to optimize processes and relationships
  • Able to take ideas from the team and identify and implement better solutions
