Meet the team:

Argo is searching for a People Operations Manager, Talent Partners, who will work to drive, define and scale our global software recruiting and business partners team. The People Operations Manager, Talent Partner should understand the entire employee lifecycle from the recruiting process, candidate experience, hiring process and employee experience.

What you’ll do: 

  • Manage a team of Recruiters and HRBPs supporting our Software organization
  • Responsible for ensuring the personnel and program success of Argo’s Software Engineering Recruiting and HRBP team
  • Partner closely with hiring managers and leaders across the organization by developing strategies for effective recruiting, building on existing practices to ensure consistent access to qualified candidates and a healthy talent pipeline
  • Establish best practices for the team and organization as a whole
  • Work with leadership to report metrics and drive key cross functional hiring needs
  • Engage with internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Manage employee relations and conflict resolution, serving as an emotionally intelligent, confidential, and dependable resource for counsel, feedback, and coaching to all employees, managers, and leaders
  • Assist in organizational design, team development, and building a culture and employee experience which fosters inclusivity and peak performance
  • Partner closely with Compliance and Legal teams to effectively maintain company policy adherence and investigation integrity across the company
  • Collaborate with the Senior People Operations Manager on reporting and tracking recruiting and business partner metrics to identify best strategies and areas of improvement
  • Develop and drive project plans to produce results and maintain progress aligned to the Talent Partners objectives to ensure projects are delivered on-time and to a high standard of quality
  • Responsible for personnel management tasks including hiring, goal planning, progress tracking, mentoring, reviewing employee performance, team status reporting, and prioritizing resources

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 8 years Recruiting and/or Human Resources experience
  • Experience with personnel management such as hiring, goal planning, performance management, etc
  • Experience working with a diverse and inclusive team
  • Greenhouse ATS experience is preferred, but not required
  • Workday ATS experience is preferred, but not required
  • Ability to distill complex manual processes into streamlined automated processes by applying structured, analytical thinking to problems
  • Ability to work on ad-hoc projects
  • Proactive communication skills
