Meet the team:

The Compliance Team supports the operations of the company by ensuring that all functions are complying with applicable laws and regulations. As part of the Compliance Team, you will provide support to the office of the General Counsel. The Argo Compliance Team’s goal is to deliver value to business by focusing on speed of delivery, pragmatic application of law and building relationships within the company.

What you’ll do: 

  • Draft clear, concise, and precise policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and company standards
  • Review existing policies and procedures to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency with legal requirements, company standards, and related documents
  • Work closely with the Compliance Team and stakeholders across the company to document safety-critical processes
  • Draft, support, and deliver legal and compliance trainings on critical areas of law
  • Facilitate stakeholder review of new and revised documentation to ensure concepts are legally sounds and captured accurately 
  • Analyze effectiveness of documentation and recommend improvements 

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Juris Doctorate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Track record of success with driving creation and adoption of usable policies and procedures
  • Writing style which is practical and comprehensive, yet simple 
  • Ability to interpret laws, rules, regulations, and agency guidance
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly directives and guidelines
  • Ability to be a strategic partner and anticipate issues
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Eager to learn and drive fast-paced projects
  • Skilled at prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking
  • Skilled with G-Suite

Our Background:

Argo AI was founded in late 2016 by industry experts with extensive experience building robotic systems for commercial applications.
