The People Operations (POps) team is looking for a data-driven, detail-oriented, compliance-focused expert to join our team! This individual will serve as the point-of-contact owning HRIS data management in Workday. This role requires the ability to deliver in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and extensive experience with Workday. You must possess strong relationship building and communication skills, with proven ability to successfully collaborate with all levels of technical and non-technical team members and leadership. You must understand the importance of data integrity and compliance. As we scale our organization, we will rely on you for the data integrity of our most important asset - our people! 

What you’ll do: 

  • Serve as the HRIS subject matter expert and liaison with internal teams
  • Drive HRIS process improvement to ensure that data is configured to automate reporting
  • Enhance current HRIS reporting and reporting processes
  • Develop and share custom reports (ad hoc and routine), calculated fields and tailored dashboards to meet management and cross-functional needs
  • Maintain, audit and document system user security, standardized supervisory and cost center organizations, job profiles, and compensation data
  • Load, manipulate and audit data to make complex mass changes (EIBs), conversions, or other direct data updates to the system as is necessary
  • Perform day to day HR data updates, ensuring HRIS data accuracy, recognizing data problems or inconsistencies and formulating solutions to correct discrepancies
  • Assist with broadening of internal Workday configuration knowledge through creation of documentation and HCM trainings
  • Provide clear communication to staff regarding status of HRIS changes, rollouts and initiatives
  • Provide HCM support for Argo employees
  • Support the People Operations Program Manager in complex analysis to generate information in support of our initiatives, including Compensation planning
  • Coach our growing team on HRIS best-practices 
  • Develop a thorough audit program supported by strong internal controls to review HRIS data and other supporting employee documentation
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, guidelines, and documentation required to ensure our compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Act as Internal Auditor by leading regular compliance and operational audits of HRIS data, employee folders, and other employee documentation in support of audit program expectations
  • Monitor and maintain an HRIS system and process designed to assure ongoing compliance with all appropriate external requirements 

What we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Human Resources or Business field or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • PHR or HRIP Certifications preferred
  • Must have extensive Workday experience 
  • Experience working in a fast growing technology company or department 
  • Experience building HRIS systems and reporting from an early stage
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience with HRIS systems and/or HRIS reporting
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with HR law, HR compliance, and/or HR auditing 
  • Must possess advanced analytical skills (ability to do pivot tables, vlookups, concatenation, etc.) to support problem-solving capability 
  • 5-7 years of experience with HRIS systems including HRIS reporting
  • Applicable experience in other HR roles and functions is a plus
  • Experience building HRIS systems and reporting from an early stage
