The Position

Arevon is recruiting for the position of Senior Analyst on the Portfolio Finance team, an outstanding opportunity for individuals seeking an exciting, high-growth work environment in one of the most important industries for the 21st century.

Job Description

The Portfolio Finance Senior Analyst will play an integral part in managing financing and portfolio activities throughout the organization. This role is highly collaborative with various internal and external stakeholders and requires a deep understanding of the capital structures across Arevon’s operating portfolio. The Senior Analyst responsibilities include maintaining and auditing Tax Equity tracking models, managing financing counterparty consents and amendments, and monitoring project liquidity. This position will also have an opportunity to assist in key financing activities such as debt/equity fundings, term conversions, and tax equity restructuring and buyouts. The job is in Scottsdale, AZ.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage various aspects of portfolio assets including financial modeling, cash flow analysis, partnership allocations (tax/cash), and financing/legal transactions.
  • Maintain tax equity tracking models to ensure compliance with LLCA requirements and to monitor partnership flip points.
  • Act as primary point of contact for investors and lenders in the Arevon operating portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial performance across operating assets.
  • Contribute to corporate financing objectives as needed.
  • Coordinate due diligence logs, consultant reports, and third-party documentation requests.
  • Collaborate across internal teams including Development & Construction, Engineering, and Asset Management to manage ongoing financing requirements.
  • Support and help lead financing activities including capital raises, debt term conversions, refinancing, tax equity partnership restructuring and asset divestitures.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in the renewable energy industry, utilities sector or portfolio finance.
  • Proven track record of working well within a team environment, taking ownership of processes and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, highly motivated and results oriented, process oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to set and meet realistic deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent discretion in handling confidential information and in communicating with third parties.
  • Understanding of tax-equity structures and partnership tax principles or experience is a plus.
  • Proficient on MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.

Education Requirements

At a minimum, bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or engineering; Post-graduate degree or CFA is a plus.
