Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Technician to join our small IT team and are willing to accept shared responsibilities/workload. The successful candidate will have an intermediate knowledge of all Microsoft-related applications. Focus will be on SharePoint, Power Apps , Power Automate, Azure, Planner, and other Microsoft 365 services. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the optimal performance and security of Microsoft systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain the SharePoint environment.
  • Manage SharePoint site collections, sites, lists, libraries, and other components.
  • Implement and manage SharePoint security, permissions, and access control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint/ PowerApps-related issues and incidents.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and assist with SharePoint-related queries.
  • Design and develop custom PowerApps applications. Integrate these applications with SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 services to automate workflows and streamline business processes.
  • Utilize Microsoft Planner to manage tasks and workflows. Integrate Planner with  and Microsoft Teams to enhance collaboration and project management.
  • Create and update technical documentation, including system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff to maximize their use of SharePoint, PowerApps, and Planner. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement SharePoint projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing/developing a SharePoint environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, OneDrive, and Office applications.
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, PowerApps, Power Automate, and other customization tools.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, and site structure.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell for SharePoint administration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and database management as it relates to SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with other collaboration tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
