Online worlds are an always-on service for our players. ArenaNet’s engineering team takes great pride in maintaining systems that can keep pace with our live games, with a focus on predictability and stability. We are seeking people like you who are as meticulous and deliberate as our engineering team in order to continue supporting demanding game development timelines with QA automation.
WHO YOU ARE
You love ensuring people have a stable build of the game and all of their tools. You have experience assessing systems for testability. You are passionate about automating those systems and dedicated to doing what it takes to keep game development moving.
We’d like to hear from you if:
You have experience building out test suites
You are fluent in Python and C#
You are competent with C++
You are experienced with Perforce
You are capable with at least one other scripting system
You are operationally knowledgeable of and competent with Windows and Windows Server
You are self-driven with good time management, communication, and debugging skills
Identify high-risk areas to target test efforts
Work closely with QA and engineers during the development lifecycle
Continually improve test processes to reduce maintenance time
Develop and maintain systems to drive stable multi-platform games and tools
