WHO WE ARE
We’re ArenaNet. We make the games we want to play a reality, and infuse them with innovation, hand-crafted detail, and creative passion. As developer and publisher of the award-winning Guild Wars game series, we’re proud to share our passion for the online worlds we’ve created with over 11 million players worldwide.
ArenaNet offers a one-year, paid internship program, taking place on-site in the company's studio facilities in Bellevue, WA. We're very serious about programming, and we created this initiative to help young programmers develop the skills necessary for success in the game industry. We seek programmers who have talent and a high degree of motivation, and only lack one thing: work experience.
FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM
Small cohort. Work and learn with a tight-knit team of motivated engineers in a professional environment. Hone your skills on-site in the ArenaNet studios, working alongside top industry professionals in a dedicated workspace.
Meaningful work. You'll be tasked with a variety of programming assignments that contribute to the success of the company.
Hourly stipend. Compensation is a $14 per hour stipend.
Regular work hours. Work Monday through Friday during usual business hours (full-time, 40 hours a week), for the duration of the year-long program.
Studio location. Idyllic location in the Pacific Northwest. Enrollees are expected to relocate to the Bellevue, WA area at their own expense. Bellevue is in the beautiful greater Seattle area, which offers a wide range of cultural and natural activities.
