ArenaNet is looking for a talented IT Helpdesk Engineer to provide high touch, "white-glove" service and support to our corporate end users (developers, artists, administrative folks) behind one of today’s greatest MMOs, Guild Wars. You’ll have the opportunity to provide excellent front line support for our end users, and help us adapt to new technologies and hardware solutions as we develop additional products.
Researching, analyzing, and resolving end user hardware and software related problems in a Windows Client environment.
Providing workstation/laptop installation and repair.
Act as first line of defense for malware and security incident response.
Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software applications.
Providing end user support in applications and procedures.
Provision software licenses and facilitate license compliance.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks to completion in a highly customer service focused manner.
Experience receiving, analyzing and triaging customer requests in a Windows environment.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting desktop and laptop hardware.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to produce usable and maintainable documentation.
A strong desire to learn and grow.
Experience with Office 365 administration
Experience with software & hardware purchasing
Experience supporting Macs
Experience with Active Directory
Experience with IP networking including DNS, DHCP, switching and routing
CompTIA A+, NET+, or SEC+ certifications
