Greater São Paulo Area

This hybrid position involves in-person workdays in São Paulo, 1-2 times per month, coordinated flexibly with the manager and the team, while primarily following a remote work routine.

 

What you will be doing

  • Lead and own the end-to-end product lifecycle of Arena initiatives you are responsible for, ensuring a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement the product roadmap and strategy in collaboration with product leadership to achieve business objectives, breaking down the company strategy into actionable and achievable plans.
  • Create comprehensive use cases, user stories, and detailed product requirements that clearly articulate both the functionality and technical requirements of the product to be developed.
  • Analyze relevant benchmarks and competitive market data to guide product decisions and sustain a competitive advantage.
  • Analyze product data to assess the impact of releases and leverage insights to drive continuous improvements.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog by balancing customer feedback, product enhancements, and strategic initiatives using sound judgment and decisive tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams to deliver exceptional products and user experience from development to rollout.
  • Communicate the company’s strategy and product vision effectively to the team, ensuring alignment and focus on shared objectives.

 

Basic qualifications

  • 2+ years of product experience taking products from conception to launch.
  • Industry experience and/or familiarity with UX/UI design, best practices and tools
  • Strong technical background, capable of working with distributed systems, highly scalable products, and APIs. Skilled at distinguishing frontend and backend challenges and effectively communicating and specifying requirements with the technical team.
  • Strong organizational skills: prioritization, effective time management, conflict resolution, risk identification, and mitigation.
  • Tireless eye for detail and demonstrated an obsession with building great user experiences
  • Natural leadership. You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. 
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and development process
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and feel comfortable talking to native English speakers on a daily basis

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership through data-driven insights
  • Prior software engineering experience, or experience in developer facing roles
  • Experience in fast-paced start-up environments
  • Experience with real-time communication products
  • Knowledge of LLM, Generative AI technologies, RAG applications and agents.
