About the Role:

We are looking for a software developer who loves solving challenging problems and enjoys working in a collaborative environment as part of a remote team. You will work with the best talent in the industry and will always have interesting problems to solve. It is our goal to have you releasing code to our production environment within the first two weeks.

The specific role we are looking to fill is on our automated testing team. You will be a part of the team responsible for the test framework in which our automated tests run. Notable challenges include physical test bed configuration, automated performance testing as well as automated manufacturing testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Write well organized, testable, and high performing code.
  • Identify and implement optimizations that help us, or our sensors operate more efficiently.
  • Meet regularly with the team to review progress and share technical issues.
  • Collaborate with other team members and external stakeholders.
  • Write clear and concise documentation.
  • Implement bug-fixes and contribute to on-going product maintenance.
  • Improve the resiliency of our test infrastructure and introduce new tests where appropriate.


About You:

  • You have 2+ years of experience writing production quality python or golang code.
  • You have 2+ years of experience writing automated tests and working with an automated test framework.
  • You have experience with physical test setup as well as automated performance testing for network appliances.
  • You are someone who enjoys writing code and solving interesting problems every day.
  • You have working knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and automated test tools and frameworks.
  • You are comfortable with using Linux tools to troubleshoot and identify system level problems.
  • You have a proven track record of rapidly learning a new technology or a programming language.
  • You have working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and protocols or experience with network appliances.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience with development in AWS.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with performance testing of network hardware.
  • Experience with test frameworks and automated testing in general.
  • Experience with virtualization of computer hardware.
