Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented government contracts professional with extensive experience to help manage and scale our operations in the Public Sector contracting market, with a focus on K-12, Higher Education, and State & Local Government. Public Sector is a priority vertical at Arctic Wolf and this is a new position will have high visibility and partnership with our Sales, Channel, Legal, and Operations teams.
Responsibilities
· Building and maintaining strong professional, working relationships with SLED government contract and program offices
· Coordinating and executing cross functional corporate processes to ensure Arctic Wolf remains in compliance with the agreed upon Terms and Conditions; proactively identifying and implementing actions to achieve efficiencies in daily operations
· Providing "cradle to grave" SLED contract administration
· Assist Legal team in the review of contract-related issues during bid submission and provide expertise to the business to finalize all such bid submissions
· Responsible for coordinating with the Legal and other internal departments and completing required SLED contract administration actions to include contract interpretation, contract close out, contract document management, contract reporting, vendor registration guidance
· Reviewing, analyzing, and compiling SLED contract sales data and providing updates and recommendations to management regarding past SLED contract use and increasing future sales
· Acting as an expert SLED contracting resource for Arctic Wolf to enable go-to market strategies
· Updating and maintaining any applicable SLED contract catalogs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, as needed
· Drive strategic SLED contracts direction
· Assist with SLED contract audit with screening, maintaining, and offloading contracts
· Identify SLED contractual issues that are problematic or inconsistent with company processes or deliverables and provide follow through until the issues are resolved by the respective internal departments
· Advise Finance, Operations, Sales, Channel, Legal & Compliance teams regarding SLED contract compliance and obligations
· Partner with Sales & Channel Enablement to access and leverage SLED contract vehicles
· Own the process of adding and/or updating pricing on SLED government contract vehicles and adding new SLED contracts
· Oversee ordering process for SLED and proactively collaborate cross functionally to improve the process, troubleshoot and resolve any ordering issues
· Develop, coordinate, and deliver enablement plans to educate sellers on sales systems, tools, and processes when applicable
· Drive business process, workflow creation & re-engineering and productivity improvement initiatives
Qualifications
· 5+ years government sector contracts management experience, preferably at a high-growth enterprise SaaS company
· Experience working in the State & Local Government and Education sector
· Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects and work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
· Strong business acumen
