About the Role:

Arctic Wolf Networks is looking for a talented software developer to help us revolutionize the way that network security is delivered to small, medium and enterprise businesses. Our hardworking Applications Team is passionate about building a cloud-based solution that will solve the real-world security problems that IT professionals face. We are a growing, well-funded, startup led by a Silicon Valley founder with a proven track record.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with team members to deliver key features that improve our Application Portal service offerings.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle.
  • Build well-designed, testable, efficient, secure code.
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility.
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
  • Document and maintain software functionality.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrate solid work experience with Golang, Python and TypeScript
  • Comfortable with front end technology with React
  • Believe in testing as a fundamental development practice
  • Understanding of Kubernetes and dev ops principles
  • Working knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and automated test tools
  • Self-starter who enjoys big technical challenges
  • Excited by the opportunity to learn new things
  • Great design skills with a true interest of coding
  • Familiarity with AWS products and cloud deployment
  • Interested in the field of network security
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • Conducts duties and responsibilities in accordance with AWN’s Information Security policies, standards, processes and controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of AWN business information.
  • Background checks are required for this position
