The Community Marketing Manager will be the link between the adidas brand, the community, and the employee store. You’ll be planning, executing, and managing marketing activities at the local level, fostering relationships, and promoting adidas products within the Portland sports culture, and lifestyle communities and driving consumers to the adidas employee store. By becoming a Community Marketing Manager you’ll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives at the local level to drive adidas brand love, help drive sales, and grow adidas market share.

YOUR IMPACT IN THE ROLE
Drive Employee Store Traffic. Maintain a strong presence in the Portland Sports and lifestyle community, establishing yourself as the go-to plug for employee store access.
Community Engagement. Serve as the local expert of the adidas employee store, acting as an ambassador between the store and community leaders – the ultimate networker in the Portland sports and lifestyle scenes.
Market Planning. Maintain an up-to-date calendar of planned grassroots experiences and analyze results continuously to enhance market efforts.
Maintain Key Relationships. Collaborate regularly with key adidas partners, store staff, and community members; working to identify opportunities to strengthen and activate partnerships.
Regular Reporting. Complete regular reporting to document activity in the market. Share key learnings and prepare thorough recaps to directly influence brand and agency initiatives.
Event Management. Regularly host events at the store and in the community – driving store traffic and sales.
Seeding and Gifting. You’ll be responsible for developing a seeding program, making sure we get the latest and greatest from adidas in the right hands throughout the Portland sports and lifestyle communities to drive excitement and buzz.
Social Storytelling. Executing content capture and identifying relevant social influencers to collaborate with.
