Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do
Develop and grow of the Strategic Sourcing team (Direct, Services, Indirect spend)
Oversee the Strategic sourcing activities, including management of the RFx process, contracts negotiations and development of strategic partnerships, aiming to develop the maximum value at minimum TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) for Archer.
Develop, implement and oversee the administration of supply contracts.
Responsible for the overall business relationships with Archer supply base, and act as primary point of escalation for the overall supply base.
Establish, communicate, and implement long term goals for the department, in order to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
Develop and implement Strategic Sourcing policies, procedures and processes.
Work closely with the respective departments to continuously improve the department policies and procedures, in order to enhance organizational value and efficiency.
Develop and manage the department performance metrics, including but not limited to Total Cost of Ownership savings, in alignment with Archer goals.
Based in Archer HQ. Travel: 30% to 40%.
What You Need
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply chain.
10 to 15 years of related experience, ideally in Aerospace and/or Automotive industry
5 to 10 years of supervisory experience
Ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated environment
Results oriented and metrics driven leader, with experience in sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier collaboration, development and compliance.
Solid analytical and computer skills
Strong communication skills
Outstanding team building and leadership skills
