Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do
In partnership with the key internal stakeholders, source and develop the strategic and tactical Cabin Equipment/Avionics supply base, through the management of the RFx process, suppliers contracts negotiations and management.
Responsible for increasing the value of the Cabin Equipment/Avionics supply base, while decreasing the total costs of ownership for Archer.
Responsible for the overall business relationships with the Cabin Equipment/Avionics supply base, and the development of productive and collaborative partnerships. Act as primary point of escalation for the Cabin Equipment/Avionics supply base.
Participates to the development and implementation of Strategic Sourcing policies, procedures and processes.
Work closely with the respective departments to continuously improves the department policies and procedures, in order to enhance organizational value and efficiency.
Based in Archer HQ. Travel: 20%.
What You Need
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply chain
5 to 10 years of related experience, ideally in Aerospace industry. Experience in sourcing Cabin Equipment/Avionics a plus
Results oriented and metrics driven manager, with experience in sourcing, contract negotiations, supplier collaboration, development and compliance
Ability to work in a fast paced and highly regulated environment
Solid analytical and computer skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Strong team player
