Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the Ops/Infra function and have ownership of IT Networks, Datacenter, End User Services, & Cyber Security
  • Define & execute strategy and architecture for all key Ops/Infra areas
  • Establish operational procedures that are documented and measurable
  • Build a program to align to several areas of Compliance (SOX, ISO, FAA-related, Security)
  • Financial Management, including budgeting, forecasting, and operational procedures 
  • Create policies, procedures, documentation, and ensure these reflect the current state
  • Always have Archer End User Experience in mind

What You Need

  • A desire to be hands-on while we grow our team and strategy
  • 10+ years of IT work experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a computer field
  • Experience in multi-site and manufacturing environments
  • Expertise in AWS & other cloud computing services including cost optimization
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 environments
  • Experience in a public company
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Highly organized with an strong attention to detail
  • Ability to move and lift IT equipment as necessary, including PCs, servers, and rack equipment
