Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What you’ll do
Conduct analysis of computational experiments that will strongly influence the design of a new fleet of electric takeoff and landing vehicles
Wrange data from a multitude of sources and own the data pipelines that feed our system simulation technology that will be used to make strategic decisions regarding our go to market plan
Analyze spatio-temporal mobility data to help optimize vertiport locations to maximize time saved for customers
Generate ideas for exploratory analysis to improve existing tools and help build ideate on next generation products
Conduct ad hoc analysis to support critical analysis from other stakeholders
What you need
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
2+ years experience using data to create insight into complicated problems
Proficiency with database systems like SQL or PostgreSQL
Proficiency with scripting languages like Python or R
Understanding of general data science concepts
Analytical thinker who can pose meaningful questions, find creative solutions to them, and communicate the results to key decision makers
Comfortable working in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment
Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Tableau
A passion for urban mobility, sustainable transportation, and the future of cities
Experience working with geospatial data with Geopandas or QGIS
Experience presenting complex quantitative analyses into a clear and concise summary for executives
Master’s degree in a quantitative field
