How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Principal Scientist in our Analytical Development group, you will have a direct impact on the Arcellx drug pipeline, both as a thought leader and a lab-based contributor. Our potentially life-saving treatments would not exist without the work of our talented scientists. Your work will have a direct impact on our ability to continue to deliver our transformative therapy to patients who need it most.

The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do

  • Develop and optimize analytical methods to assess product identity, purity, potency and safety tests. 
  • Perform troubleshooting and evaluation of analytical methods such as molecular/ biological/ immuno-assays, including ddPCR, qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry.
  • Participate in method transfers with CMOs.
  • Provide analytical support to process development and research and discovery teams.
  • Uses DOE and statistical methods to design effective experiments.
  • Thoroughly analyze results and methods, track/trend control data, solve analytical problems, and troubleshoot assays.
  • Author/ co-author and review reports, SOPs, and CMC documentation.

Skills and Experience We Look For

  • PhD. or master’s degree in immunology, cellular or molecular biology.
  • 5+ years (with PhD) or 10+ years (with MS) of industry experience in cancer drug development.
  • Expertise in analytical method development, characterization, and comparability assessment of cell and gene therapeutics.
  • Understanding of principles and practical applications of molecule-based assays, flow cytometry, cell enumeration and viability.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with an ability to deliver results within aggressive timelines.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
