What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a strategic VP of People to lead our People team, which includes the HRBP, People Operations, Total Rewards, and L&D teams. The VP, People will be responsible for executing, planning, leading, directing, developing, and coordinating the activities of the People team and working closely with them. This individual will play an integral role in laying out the strategy and playbook for the organization in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment. Additionally, the VP People will collaborate frequently with the Arcadia Leadership teams and cross-functional partners such as the Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Finance teams.
This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer. We are prioritizing hires based in the DC, MD, VA, NY and NJ, but we are open to fully remote candidates.
What you'll do:
Design, disseminate, and execute on the organization’s people strategy
Define our employer brand to help attract and retain top talent
Partner closely with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, including finance, talent acquisition, legal, etc. to build sustainable, repeatable people processes
Collaborate with managers to execute on workforce plan (e.g., create competency model, identify skill gaps) unique to each department
Manage team of both strategic (e.g., HRBPs) and operational (e.g., benefits) employees
What will help you succeed:
10+ years of experience in the HR or People function
4+ years of experience leading direct reports
Ideal candidates will have experience across both large publicly-traded firms as well as smaller, pre-IPO startups
Exposure to companies engaged in M&A is a plus
