We’re looking for a passionate and talented teammate to help lead us scale and accelerate infrastructure and software deployment at Revionics. This is a full-time position in-office at our Bangalore, India location. As a Release Manager, you’ll be a major contributor to the company’s success. You’ll work with teams across the organization to collaborate and help in Rapid releases following SDLC. Your technical leadership will help drive continuous integration & delivery for our market leading AI SaaS Products for the retail industryOur next-gen infrastructure stack is based on GCP, Linux, Windows, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Gitlab. 

 

Required Skills.  

  • 8+ years’ experience in implementing and managing DevOps practices and methodologies. 
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure. 
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD. 
  • Proven track record in coordinating and managing software releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments.  
  • Experience in managing version control systems and ensuring proper branching, merging, and versioning strategies are followed in collaboration with dev teams. 
  • Experience in monitoring build and deployment processes for issues, diagnosing problems, and recommending solutions to improve performance and reliability. 
  • Experience in Collaborating with development, QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and coordination of build and release activities. Communicating release plans, status updates, and any issues or risks to stakeholders. 
  • Experience working on Creating and maintaining documentation for build and release processes, including standard operating procedures, best practices, and workflows. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing enhancements to streamline build and release activities. 
  • Experience in Facilitating and ensuring the smooth conduct of Scrum events using Jira or Service Now, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead best practices for build and release, Overseeing the release process, including planning, scheduling, coordinating, and deploying software releases. 
  • Managing cloud environments and infrastructure configurations for development, testing, and production, ensuring consistency and reliability across environments. 
  • Coordinating release activities with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, infrastructure engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure smooth and timely releases. 
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with software releases, including compatibility issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
