Job Summary:
The Senior Software Engineer will participate in new product development as well as improving existing products. You will join an empowered Agile team, working on technical designs, implementing solutions, and partnering broadly across our growing mix of Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Engineers, and Stakeholders. We are looking for someone who prioritizes collaboration and brings a unique mix of technical and interpersonal skills, enabling us to become an even stronger team. You are a senior-level engineer with experience working in some or all of the following: Java, React, JavaScript frameworks, relational and non-relational databases, RESTful webservices, and SAAS/Cloud applications. Your proactivity and desire for personal growth is what will allow aPriori to scale into the future.

Responsibilities:
•    Independently implements assigned feature work
•    Designs & builds medium/high complexity components
•    Participates in hiring interviews and provides candidate feedback
•    Performs code reviews
•    Mentors associate and junior engineers

Required Skills/Abilities:
•    Full stack engineer with an emphasis on front-end applications
•    Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a global project team

Education and Experience:
•    7+ years of software engineering experience with a minimum of 5 years as a Front-End developer
•    3+ years of React experience
•    Full stack capabilities including 3+ years’ experience with Java
•    Demonstrable experience developing with Spring Boot or other Microservice framework
•    Experience in SaaS/Cloud application development (AWS preferred), including a strong understanding of security concerns and multi-tenancy
•    Experience designing and implementing distributed systems
•    Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related technical discipline
