That’s where you, the Marketing Manager comes in.
About This Role
Fundamentally, this job is about: finding, acquiring, and retaining new customers.
If you’re an organized, self motivated, and creative person with excellent communication skills, then this role is for you. It’s designed for someone that is excited by a fast-paced, data-driven environment, with continuous opportunities for innovation.
You’ll be working alongside our marketing team and will be involved in key business decisions. On the day to day, you’ll be using WebinarNinja, MeisterTask, Klaviyo, Google Tag Manager, Lemlist, YouTube, Zoom, and ProfitWell. In the first three months of this role, success means taking organizational control over our product and influencer webinars, creating and launching killer giveaways to our audience, and helping to close new content partnerships with other successful companies.
A day in the life would include reaching out to our current partners to organize their launches, reaching out to new niche influencers for webinar opportunities, coming up with continual viral giveaways to help grow our email list, discovering new opportunities to grow our lead generation and finally, reaching out to top entrepreneurs and influencers in the game (think Pat Flynn, Tim Ferris etc) to creatively grow AppSumo.
This is a unique role that requires organization, attention to detail, time management, and strong communication. Our ideal candidate has 2+ years in marketing, specifically geared towards running outreach campaigns and negotiating strong partnerships.
Why You’ll Love it:
You’ll organize outreach and test new marketing strategies to take us to the next level. You’ll design creative giveaways, create new content partnerships and increase our reach through outreach initiatives. If you’re a self-starter who loves to drive results through autonomous action, you’re going to crush this.
Why You May Not Like It:
We’ll reach out to top influencers (think Pat Flynn or Tim Ferris). If you’re not comfortable with this type of outreach, this may not be for you. You must also be organized, disciplined, and able to turn work in before deadlines.
Pay & Benefits:
The starting salary for this position is $70,000. In addition, we offer paid lunches every day, a stocked fridge, any snacks you want, and two all-expenses paid company trips with the team. Not to mention, we also have in-office massages weekly. Oh, and you can bring your dog to work. We love your dog :)
