Sr. Atlassian Consultant - 12 months Contract - Remote

As an Atlassian Consultant, you will be a key player in driving the success of our clients' Atlassian implementations. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through the complex landscape of Atlassian products, ensuring they maximize the value of their investments. You will work closely with our team of developers and consultants to deliver innovative solutions that optimize workflows, enhance collaboration, and drive business growth

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your key responsibilities:

• Efficiently communicate with customers and peers to ensure a seamless and positive experience.
• Utilize expert troubleshooting skills to resolve issues, aiming to prevent future occurrences.
• Conduct application upgrades, optimize performance, develop custom plugins, and implement applications to enhance system capabilities.
• Execute technical tasks as directed by the project's technical lead, contributing to project objectives.
• Aid the technical lead in facilitating workshops and client discovery sessions to understand and meet project requirements.
• Acquire technical expertise and certifications to proficiently deliver client projects on required platforms.
• Assist in client scoping efforts as guided by technical and sales leads, ensuring accurate project estimations and planning.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• 3-5 years of direct experience in software development, demonstrating a strong foundation in software principles.
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in team environments.
• Proficient in English (with Cantonese as a nice to have)  with excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating clear and efficient interactions with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in command line interfaces (preferably Unix), SQL, scripting, software configuration, and other relevant technologies.
• A proactive growth mindset committed to continuous learning and embracing new technologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Atlassian Product Certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-400, ACP-420, ACP-520, ACP-610, or ACP-620) are highly desirable.
• Experience in managing and administrating Atlassian products will be considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Agile principles and terminology, with SAFe 3.0 or above experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Atlassian Cloud, Atlassian Server, and Data Center versions.
• Demonstrable experience with cloud and server migrations, as well as competitor migrations to the three different Atlassian platforms.
