As a Program Manager at Appnovation, you will spearhead projects for one of our global pharmaceutical clients. You'll oversee concurrent projects, timelines, stakeholder and team communication, ensuring high-quality deliverables within or under budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Drive portfolio project efforts across multiple brands.
- Be accountable for portfolio/program/project success by delivering high quality projects according to milestones and timelines
- Lead large, complex projects, from discovery and definition, through design, development, deployment, post launch support and reporting, while identifying and mitigating risk
- Oversee multiple concurrent projects working closely with strategists, designers, copywriters, developers, technical architects, product managers, project managers and the client's representatives
- Clarify and communicate program objectives and success criteria
- Act as a leader by providing vision, direction and purpose to the team
- Build and maintain relationships with clients’ senior leadership team, facilitate key meetings and present deliverables as needed
- Run standup and program status meetings across multiple teams including various internal teams, external agencies and vendor partners
- Create and update program documentation and presentations, including detailed status reports for business leadership
- Ensure the end to end delivery process is being followed by all teams, and provide support and guidance to teams where training is required
- Be an escalation point to any task owners, facilitating communication and meetings to pull people together, identify problems, and collaborate in finding solutions.Identify and provide recommendations for process improvement and implement new ways of working
- Work with the Product Owner and Consumer Engagement Team to identify new opportunities and growth areas for the portfolioGrow long-term relationships with clients and agency partners
- Potential travel from time to time
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must Haves:
- 8+ years as a Project Manager / Program Manager in the digital space or digital consulting environment and a heavy focus on managing large client-facing technical projects and teams
- Ability to work with SMEs to estimate project timelines, build detailed project plans, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines
- Experience managing projects with substantial logistics, complexity and teams (across business requirements, design and development) with 10+ members
- Experience using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including experience with scrum
- Familiarity leading discussions around KPIs and key operating metrics to ensure projects are delivered and monitored appropriately post launch
- Be fundamentally driven by ensuring good process and be able to adapt different approaches and methodologies
- Understanding of client business requirements, and firm understanding of requirements traceability/signoff and scope management ● Ability to present, manage and communicate effectively across all levels, especially senior leadership
- Exceptional client facing skills
- Strong management and leadership skills with ownership / accountability of project team success
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify risks and gaps, and work collaboratively to find solutions for them.
Nice To Haves:
- Business analysis and requirements management experience AND/OR in-depth hands-on technical experience
- Project Management and/or Scrum Master certifications
- Understanding of scrum processes
- Experience working client side or for a brand, or pharmaceutical company
- Understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry, including knowledge of healthcare systems, regulations, and compliance requirements
