Appnovation Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Manager to join our forward-thinking team, based in Hong Kong. This role is crucial in delivering technical excellence and innovation across a range of client projects within the APAC region. Cantonese and English proficiency is required.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As the APAC Technology Manager, you will be at the helm of advising clients on cutting-edge technical solutions, leading a team of talented developers, and managing the full spectrum of technical development activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pre-sales and new business development.
- Advising clients on fit-for-purpose technical solutions, including technology selection, architecture, and system design.
- Hands-on development and leading the team in technical projects.
- Managing the overall technical development schedule, estimations, and budget.
- Overseeing the professional growth and ongoing development of a small technical team.
- Ensuring the delivery of web and mobile-based systems with high efficiency and quality.
EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years of relevant development experience.
- Hands-on experience in web-based systems development, including websites and web applications.
- Knowledge in advising on security-related aspects of development.
- Experience in mobile app development and leading mobile projects.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including automated QA and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of Atlassian products and associated development frameworks.
TECHNOLOGIES:
- Proficient in one or more web frameworks such as Next.js (React.js), Nuxt.js (Vue.js), PHP, Laravel, Java.
- Experience with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with mobile frameworks like React Native and Flutter.
- Understanding of Headless CMS such as Contentful or similar.
- Experience with Enterprise CMS (Adobe AEM preferred)and or DXP e.g. Adobe Experience Cloud
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure and AWS, with a focus on various cloud services for DNS, caching, containers, security, etc.
