Founding Backend Software Engineer

We are building a cybersecurity platform to defend American industries.  We are currently operating in stealth mode to focus on delivering an MVP that is best in class, then executing on our ambitious roadmap.  We are a well-funded startup backed by a top VC incubator.  Your contributions as a founding engineer will be compensated with meaningful equity and a competitive salary.

We are currently looking for Software Engineers to join our founding team, which will report directly to the CTO.  Our ideal candidate is motivated by delivering business-critical functionality in an environment where the best path forward may not be immediately clear, but discovered through collaboration with colleagues, company advisors, and our users.  As a trusted member of the team, your voice will be heard, your expertise trusted and respected, and you will be involved in shaping our product roadmap and company culture.

  • Go
  • TypeScript and React for our frontend
  • PostgreSQL and PostgreSQL compatible services
  • FedRAMP cloud environments: GCP, AWS

Required qualifications:

  • You live in the United States, ideally in the Greater Boston area, and are willing to travel for team offsites and sync-ups
  • Willingness to undergo periodic background checks, as required by our customers and partners
  • You are interested in and motivated by our purpose
  • Very strong backend development skills and fluency in the Go programming language
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a backend developer
  • Strong Linux and networking fundamentals
  • You want to work at an early stage startup
  • Prior startup experience and knowledge of cybersecurity is preferred
