About the role

[Responsibilities & Duties]

  1. Establish and propose a strategic communications plan in partnership with the regional Comms and functional teams, such as Talent Acquisition & HR and Product Marketing

  2. Plan and develop social content to better promote Appier’s business updates and brand presences via social channels and ensure all narratives are in line with the corporate messages 

  3. Work with functional teams to develop communications initiatives/ programs on a quarterly basis; manage overall project progress and collaborate with all departments to gather updated information

  4. Maintain a social media plan and incorporate a prioritized list of activities ensuring delivery of all key messages and support for business objectives; reflect social agenda with major industry event calendar and craft topics in response to trendy topics

  5. Craft, write, edit, translate and oversee content for online platforms and offline channels (if the campaign will extend to a physical format); 

  6. Measure the effectiveness of communications messages and social posts on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to review and amend as appropriate

  7. Other ad - hoc social media engagement projects as required


  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese and conversational other local languages would be a plus

  2. Experience drafting executive and employee messaging materials working with cross-functional groups

  3. Ability to help shape the communications narrative and effectively communicate via a variety of ingredients that are suitable for social media, like images, infographics, etc.

  4. Excellent communication skills to handle direct communications with company staff, external counterpart, as well as media. 

  5. 3+ years of work experience in social media management or corporate communications with good track records on Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn operations; relevant B2B marketing experience (IT or Software industry) is preferred

  6. Previous experience in regional and sizeable companies with experience in online issue  management is an advantage

  7. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 

  8. Confident and dynamic personality
