Position Overview
As a Junior Attorney you will be part of Appian’s EMEA in-house legal team, providing support in the daily commercial needs of the company, with special focus to the Spanish entity.
Responsibilities
Work with the team's attorneys and provide support for, including, but not limited to:
- Assist in reviewing all types of commercial agreements for the Spanish market
- Support the EMEA legal team in the management of its daily activities and in all commercial legal and administrative matters.
- Support the EMEA legal team in the completion of commercial contracts, such as managing the onboarding and signature process.
- Liaise with other corporate departments locally and internationally on ad hoc queries and projects
- Management and update of contract archives and contract document registration.
Required Skills
- Spanish and English fluency required. Any additional European language will be considered a plus, especially French and Italian.
- Two years post-qualification (Master de acceso a la Abogacía) commercial legal experience at a law firm, in- house, or in an academic or similar institution required, with a focus on IT and technology being considered a plus.
- Knowledge of local/regional laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Good at problem solving and resourceful.
- Excellent organizational skills with attentiveness to timeliness.
- Able to communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Skilled with Microsoft Word, PDF software and other software products as required
