Senior DevOps Engineer

What is Appian? Appian is a low-code application platform that lets businesses rapidly build powerful cloud and mobile apps with flexible, visual models instead of clunky custom code. Appian provides full stack automation, uniting humans, bots, and AI workflows. Appian's philosophy of "Data Anywhere" gives our customers the flexibility to integrate data from multiple systems into a single user interface without requiring data migration. All of these differentiators rely on the power provided by the underlying software components that this position will guide and shape from a requirements perspective.

  • Given control over our infrastructure, you stay ahead of failure by devising and monitoring services that have built-in fault tolerance. You find the best tools to setup scripts and maintenance tasks in our Dockerized environment.
  • Strong communication is key in this role where, for instance, you help our development team to drive the design early on or support data engineers and customers.
  • Being concerned about network security and data protection comes natural to you and you strive to push for better solutions and are not afraid to criticise and rethink existing approaches.
  • As a DevOps engineer, you make sure that customer data is stored and accessed according to best practices on-premises and in the cloud.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor required by law to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. Because a person may become disabled at any time, we ask all of our employees to update their information at least every five years.

Identifying yourself as an individual with a disability is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer will be maintained confidentially and not be seen by selecting officials or anyone else involved in making personnel decisions. Completing the form will not negatively impact you in any way, regardless of whether you have self-identified in the past.
