Appian seeks a leader responsible for sales product training including new product launches and role specific training for pre-sales engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for design, development, delivery and overall program management for training and enablement programs. This role will work cross functionally with other departments including marketing, product strategy, sales leadership, and more.

Lead virtual and classroom training sessions to increase sales hires’ product knowledge and fluency
Create new training and enablement programs to support product launches and revenue targets
Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and provide feedback to management
Conduct needs analysis and consult with pre-sales management to build and deliver monthly continuing education training programs for the pre-sales engineering team
Evaluate training participants and provide constructive feedback and guidance for continuous improvement, developing individual coaching plans as required
Work with sales enablement team on special projects as assigned
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
3-7+ years of experience in training and enablement
Previous product training or pre-sales engineering experience is desired
Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects and deadlines
Energetic, self-motivated individual who builds relationships with leadership naturally
Strong project management and organization skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Communication, Education, or Business
Certifications in sales, instructional design, or facilitation are a plus
Experience working with international employees is a plus
Experience with a learning management system is a plus
