We are seeking a creative, strategic individual to join our team as a Customer Marketing Manager. This role is critical in helping customer advocates share their success stories from using the Appian software.   

About the Job

  • Work directly with customers for references, press releases, and corporate events
  • Identify, research, and write compelling customer stories
  •  Assist in the creation of professionally-produced customer success videos
  • Develop a strong customer reference pipeline by liaising  with internal departments 
  • Review and maintain all customer marketing pages, logos, videos, and stories
  • Report monthly/quarterly metrics for the strategic customer engagement program
  • Build strategic relationships with customers to generate future public references
  • Help marketing and sales meet business objectives through customer advocacy initiatives
  • Ensure customers’ continued education and success throughout the relationship lifecycle

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or business
  • 3-5 years of customer marketing, marketing, customer service, business development, or account management experience
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to multitask, prioritize and work with all levels and departments within an organization
  • Strong passion for serving and understanding customers
  • Strategic thinking skills to reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand and improve the customer experience
