About You

As the Technical Consultant for Microsoft you primary responsibilities will be to work with the end customers and Appdirects advisors to deploy microsoft solutions. These can range from net new deployments on Azure\Intune or M365  migrations from existing environments along with performing security and usage to provide optimization reports to the costumes. You will be working with the Proservices team to keep the stakeholders informed of the progress of these projects. You will be working in both Microsoft and Appdirect portals, along with Salesforce and Zendesk. 

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

  • Provide guidance to customers and partners on best practices for Microsoft  deployments;
  • Migrating and deploying multiple Microsoft workloads utilizing standards and best practices;
  • Responsible for analyzing and collecting environment discovery data utilizing tools and discovery scripts;
  • Build and update documentation on customer Microsoft environments and integrations;
  • Deploying Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) and other Microsoft 365 security solutions for our company’s customers and partners;
  • Assist Solution Architects with project tasks for Microsoft 365\Azure tenant migrations and consolidations;
  • Organize, engage and consult on ideas with customers on Microsoft technology;
  • Assist delivery team on project tasks, working with other project team members and being accountable for the outcome of the project;
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, and delivery guidance to customers, partners, and internal resources;
  • Collaborate with sales team in identifying and closing opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetings and presentations;
  • Prepare detailed SOW scope and pricing to be delivered to Advisors and customers. 

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with the implementation and support of Microsoft 365 solutions, Azure and InTune;
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, documentation, and standardization;
  • Strong project time management skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills;
  • Drive to learn and deploy new Microsoft Technology;
  • Receptive listening skills, with ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Ability to provide guidance to customers and partners on best practices for Microsoft deployments;
  • Ability to translate business needs into technology specifications and recommendations;
  • Microsoft Certifications Required.
