Job Description

Aperia is seeking a SAFe-focused Product Manager of Investigative Products to support our Government, Defense & Security (GDS) team. As a key product management leader, you will be responsible for defining and executing our product strategy within the government sector. This includes aligning product development with market needs, driving product adoption, and ensuring successful product. Collaboration with product managers, business line owners, designers, clients, and partners is key, requiring adept diplomatic skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics.

We are looking for a qualified candidate ready to work with cutting-edge technologies in an innovative organization. The Director of Investigative Products & Product Management should have experience in leading investigative product strategies and driving strategic technology partnerships while supporting Growth and Customer Success initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a GDS product roadmap in collaboration with Aperia’s CTO, CIO, and GDS leadership, ensuring it meets market and client needs.
  • Lead product management efforts, including the ideation, development, and launch of innovative customer solutions using agile methodologies.
  • Engage with government stakeholders to identify and validate product requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations tailored to existing and prospective government clients and partners to drive product engagement.
  • Represent Aperia at industry events, trade shows, and government forums, advocating for our product offerings and strategies.
  • Lead Partnership Programs, pre-sales Solutions Engineering, and Product Strategy to support product management objectives.
  • Support Marketing by providing insights to develop strategic messaging for GDS products, enhancing market positioning.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment through consistent communication with team members, leadership, and stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities effectively using agile and SAFe practices, with a focus on product management.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in product management using agile and SAFe methodologies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience designing and delivering solutions for insider threat, common operating picture (COP) and multi-source investigative analysis use cases to federal law enforcement and intelligence groups
  • Deep understanding of key industry solutions and competitive technologies
  • Proficiency in business operations tools (SharePoint, MS Office Suite, Visio, Excel etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience within FVEY law enforcement and/or intelligence organizations.
  • Strong project management skills including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Ability to manage dynamic and competing priorities to support GDS revenue growth.
  • Criminal Justice degree(s) or certification(s).
  • Experience crafting marketing messages showcasing technology differentiators for government use cases.

Education and Certifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent) or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with eligibility for US Government clearance is mandatory.
