Job Description

At Aperia, we rely on a dynamic team of developers. We’re seeking a Business Analyst who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • We are looking for a person to join our team in a critical role of the Business Analyst.
  • You will work with our internal client defining and refining the business needs into actionable user stores and tasks
  • Working directly for the Delivery Lead / Product Owner, you will serve a liaison between Client team, Development team and Data Warehouse team
  • You will be instrumental in data identification, data analysis, unit testing and managing user testing & sign off.
  • We are looking for someone with attention to detail, a sense of ownership, good interpersonal skills and excellent documentation skills.
  • Your work will increase efficiency in the development process and reduce exceptions / bugs / test failures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a computer or engineering discipline
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • Solid knowledge of SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong ability to transform / extract required details from higher level business requests
  • Working knowledge of query language such as SQL
  • High level of comfort in excel / access manipulating data
  • A solid understanding of testing and test case development

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Knowledge of JAVA, Angular
  • Knowledge of prototyping applications such as Axure

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
