Apalon is looking for an experienced Head of User Acquisition who will lead our acquisition strategy across multiple distribution channels to drive growth. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a dynamic digital marketing team and a proven track record of effectively developing and instituting processes and best practices to generate positive results. You will work closely with internal departments (Product, Data and Finance teams) and coordinate on business objectives. This position reports into Apalon’s Head of Marketing, and will play a pivotal role on a growing marketing team.


  • Lead and manage User Acquisition team’s execution and campaign management across multiple ad networks including Facebook, Instagram, Google & Apple Search; drive clear decision making and alignment with key stakeholders
  • Establish KPI goals and ensure User Acquisition team is executing to effectively meet targets
  • Monitor, optimize, and report performance on an ongoing basis
  • Evaluate and enhance performance measurement approach to improve attribution and drive growth
  • Develop view of marketing landscape and roadmap, deliver improved efficiency and growth
  • Identify new distribution channels, build strategy publisher relationships, develop test plans, execute, optimize and scale
  • Work closely with Marketing, Creative, Product & Analytics on campaign development & testing

Required Experience

  • Proven track record increasing & scaling customer acquisition while driving down customer acquisition costs
  • Experience managing budgets, reporting on results, and forecasting future impact on a growing business
  • Strong communication skills & an analytical background with a bias for developing data-driven solutions
  • Highly collaborative - with experience working cross functionally with internal & external teams including Product, Analytics, Finance, Creative to share best practices and inform testing initiatives
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment - exhibiting an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative approach to acquisition
  • Proficient in platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Adjust, Looker 

General Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience as a strong marketing leader driving cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in mobile advertising platforms - Facebook, Google, Twitter, Apple Search Ads and in-app advertising platforms
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about mobile marketing vertical
  • Strong strategic planning, oversight on execution and optimization
  • Must be effective in communicating (written and verbal) to provide concise, timely and accurate updates to management
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills (Fluency in KPIs such as CPI, CPA, CVR, CPC, CPM and LTV)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize acquisition budgets
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
