About the job

As a Scouting and Residency Intern, you will support various tasks related to our founder residency. You'll get to follow an incredible group of founders while they are building new startups, see the process from an idea being formed to some of them getting funded. You'll get to learn more about how a Venture Capital company makes their investment decisions, support our local team in Helsinki in the process of attracting the best talent to the residency and in orchestrating the day-to-day operations of the residency. 

Start date: 7th of January, 2025. This is a 5 month full-time role and onsite at our office in Helsinki. 

Responsibilities

Our Nordic residency will start on the 3rd of March and last for 12 weeks. In January we'll be actively reviewing applications and be slowly ready to start our pre-program sessions. Below is a little insight into what to expect.

   Scouting: before the start of the Residency and again towards the end of your internship

• Assist in executing founder scouting related processes for Antler’s Nordic Residency in Helsinki.
• Support in the process of identifying and attracting the best talent to the cohort, while occasionally supporting in the screening processes of incoming applications.
• Help in arranging networking events and other activities held at our office.
• Support in managing pre-residency founder communications.

   Residency Program: during the 12-week Residency

• Support the Residency team to blueprint, assemble and manage the operations of the residency, aiming at the best experience possible for our entrepreneurs
• Help run our cohorts by managing the day-to-day founder communication, operations, and logistics.
• Other administrative and operational tasks are associated with this role’s varied nature.
• Work closely with the Residency lead and rest of the Antler team, including interactions with founders, partners and advisors.

• You have a genuine interest towards founders and the startup and VC ecosystem
• You're comfortable with quick changes, tight deadlines, and moving targets
• An ability to be present at our office Helsinki on a daily basis for the duration of the internship
• As we're working in an office with dozens of founders, we hope that you'll enjoy being surrounded by a lot people
