About the role

AnswersNow is seeking an organized and proactive Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the entire recruitment process for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role combines candidate sourcing, screening, hiring, onboarding support, and collaboration with leadership teams to meet specific staffing goals. You'll also drive top-of-funnel efforts, ensuring a continuous flow of high-quality candidates while managing recruitment data, tools, and key performance metrics. 

What you'll do

Candidate Sourcing and Outreach  

  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods (job boards, social media, professional networks, industry events) to identify qualified BCBAs.
  • Drive top-of-funnel activities through paid and organic channels, including LinkedIn outreach, job landing pages, and webinars.
  • Develop and manage recruitment marketing to attract potential candidates.  

Screening and Qualification  

  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to verify credentials and conduct initial interviews.
  • Ensure alignment with hiring needs and professional requirements.

Relationship Building and Communication 

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with candidates, offering clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with candidates to manage expectations, negotiate offers, and guide them through the recruitment and onboarding process.  

Collaboration with Leadership and Hiring Managers 

  • Partner with People Operations, Clinical Leadership, and Finance teams to understand staffing needs and supply goals.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure national and regional hiring targets are met according to the supply and demand model.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, supply, and conversion rates.  

Interview Coordination and Offer Negotiation  

  • Schedule, coordinate, and conduct interviews in alignment with hiring managers’ schedules.
  • Support the negotiation process, ensuring alignment on compensation, benefits, and other terms.
  • Assist in drafting offer letters and ensure approval before extending offers to new hires.  

Onboarding and Candidate Readiness  

  • Work closely with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires, providing support through licensing, credentialing, and training.
  • Administer an 8-week pre-hire program to keep candidates engaged and motivated.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, ensuring they receive timely updates and guidance throughout the process.

Branding & Industry Engagement:

  • Improve messaging to attract more applicants by refining recruitment materials (e.g., presentation decks, landing pages).
  • Build AnswersNow’s brand through participation in industry events like CEU webinars and ABA conferences.
  • Monitor social media and job boards to ensure correct information is shared about the company.

Data Management and Reporting 

  • Maintain accurate recruitment data using ATS tools (e.g., Greenhouse) and provide reports on hiring metrics, including applicant conversion and cost to acquire BCBAs.
  • Analyze recruitment data to inform strategies and make proactive recommendations to stay on track with hiring goals.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Research and advocate for new tools and techniques to improve recruiting efficiency.
  • Develop and track key metrics, including applicant quality, candidate readiness, and BCBA churn rates.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on rejected offers and incorporate learnings into the recruitment process.

About you

  • Experience in recruiting, particularly for clinical roles such as BCBAs, is preferred.  
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.  
  • Experience in negotiating offers and managing candidate expectations.  
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.  
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.  

Contract Terms

  • This is an independent contractor position.
  • Contract length: 4 months (11/18/24 to 3/14/24 )
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week
  • Compensation Range: $50-$55$/hour
