We're looking for a Launch Engineer to join ANS' Launch team. This team focuses on the delivery of customers technical solutions across all products and services that ANS offer.
What you'll be doing...
- Working either solo or part of a wider team to deliver custom fit or productised solutions to suit requirements across a portfolio of Enterprise & SMB customers.
- Reporting in to the Launch Delivery Manager, providing regular updates on progress of projects, flagging any blockers or issues and providing solutions or recommendations on how to overcome.
- Pro-actively identifying projects that suit your technical skill set, aiming for rapid delivery although not to the detriment of customer experience.
- Regularly communicating with customers, ANS Support, Sales & Project Teams on project progress and solution handovers where applicable.
- Offering mentoring and support to Associate Launch Engineers. Sharing knowledge and technical guidance.
What we'll need from you...
- Significant experience within a technical role. Either at a support or consultancy level.
- The majority of projects will be delivered and built upon ANS’ Private eCloud offering or Public Cloud Services. Candidates must have a mixture of in-depth or some knowledge of the below technologies:
- Linux: Clustering, Panel software, Unison, Galera, Magento, DRDB (must-have)
- Linux base distributions: Alma 8/9, Ubuntu 20/22, CentOS7 (must-have)
- Commvault (ideally)
- Cisco UCS
- SAN Storage (3PAR)
- VMware: vCenter management, host config, cluster config, VM deployment etc
- Metro Clustering
- Cisco & Fortinet Firewalls
- AWS Public Cloud
- IaC: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform
