We're looking for a Launch Engineer to join ANS' Launch team. This team focuses on the delivery of customers technical solutions across all products and services that ANS offer. 

 

What you'll be doing...

  • Working either solo or part of a wider team to deliver custom fit or productised solutions to suit requirements across a portfolio of Enterprise & SMB customers.
  • Reporting in to the Launch Delivery Manager, providing regular updates on progress of projects, flagging any blockers or issues and providing solutions or recommendations on how to overcome.
  • Pro-actively identifying projects that suit your technical skill set, aiming for rapid delivery although not to the detriment of customer experience.
  • Regularly communicating with customers, ANS Support, Sales & Project Teams on project progress and solution handovers where applicable.
  • Offering mentoring and support to Associate Launch Engineers. Sharing knowledge and technical guidance.

 

What we'll need from you...

  • Significant experience within a technical role. Either at a support or consultancy level.
  • The majority of projects will be delivered and built upon ANS’ Private eCloud offering or Public Cloud Services. Candidates must have a mixture of in-depth or some knowledge of the below technologies: 
    • Linux: Clustering, Panel software, Unison, Galera, Magento, DRDB (must-have)
    • Linux base distributions: Alma 8/9, Ubuntu 20/22, CentOS7 (must-have)
    • Commvault (ideally)
    • Cisco UCS
    • SAN Storage (3PAR)
    • VMware: vCenter management, host config, cluster config, VM deployment etc
    • Metro Clustering
    • Cisco & Fortinet Firewalls
    • AWS Public Cloud
    • IaC: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform
