Responsible for sanitizing bathrooms and replacement of bathroom supplies
Daily dusting, sanitizing walls, door knobs, ledges
Dust and mop floors, sweep and mop staircases
Responsible for trash disposal and medical waste
Shovel snow or removal of snow with snow blower
Must be able to move furniture, i.e. tables, chairs, file cabinets, 10-15lbs for setting up events
Operate motorized equipment: General 2000 High-Speed Floor Machine, Vario cylindrical floor machine for grout, motor scrubber, flat mop finish applicator system, hot water carpet extractor, and strip, wax, and buff floors
Must be able to maintain equipment and train other personnel on equipment
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school or equivalency preferred
Ability to read and understand signs and labels written in English
5-7 years of experience or more working on all types of floors
Ability to be flexible and able to perform more than one task at a time
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to operate tools and equipment used in janitorial work
Must have knowledge of proper use and care of mechanical cleaning equipment
Knowledge of OSHA requirements
