Physical Security Systems Manager

Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Global Corporate Security, the Physical Security Systems Manager is responsible for spearheading the design, enhancement, and implementation of the organization's security systems on a global scale. This includes managing access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, and video surveillance systems across all company facilities. A key element of the position is collaborating with stakeholders company-wide to effectively mitigate security risks within all systems and infrastructure, in alignment with business goals. Responsibilities include assessing and actioning work orders, probing service requests, resolving technical issues, setting maintenance priorities, and managing contractor engagements for necessary system repairs. The role demands regular travel to various sites to lead new construction support, project management, and ensure successful system commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and standardization of security system architecture for global deployment.
- Evaluate and prioritize work orders and service requests, conducting investigations and troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly.
- Stay up to date on the latest security technologies and industry best practices to continually improve the organization's security posture.
- Assist with the procurement, installation, and maintenance of access control system and video management system.
- Manage physical security ticketing to address badging, access, reader/camera request, and footage request.
- Designs, installs and/or oversees the work of contractors who install wiring in new construction and remodel projects relating to systems.
- Responsible for scheduled maintenance and repairs or adjustments to electronic devices, including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection devices.
- Attend project meetings pertaining to security systems.
- Maintains inventory of essential parts and equipment to ensure repairs and installation in a timely manner.
- Respond to emergencies involving security systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience in security system management, preferably in a global capacity.
- Strong technical knowledge of access control, intrusion detection, visitor management, and surveillance systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and cultural backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support company security initiatives.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Undergraduate Degree preferred and/or 5 years of experience working with security systems.
- Experience applying security hardening standards and performing routine validation checks.
- Lead designs (construction drawings and specifications) for physical security elements (cameras, access control, intrusion detection, fences, gates, etc.).
- Experience designing, developing, or maintaining API's and integrations among security systems.
- Experience deploying systems from inception to completion.
- Problem identification and problem solving.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to needed changes.
US Salary Range
$114,000 - $171,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
